Send them off with a braces camp kit filled with all the necessities related to their teeth (e.g., extra toothbrushes and wax)
Encourage them to continue the same oral care routine and diet they have a home, and
Let them know that if anything happens to their braces to inform a counselor so that the camp can arrange for them to see a local orthodontist
